I have been a PIA customer for approximately 5 years now and in that time I have never had any downtime. Speeds are good and connections reliable

Does not work correctly with Fire stick. Support unable to resolve the issue as it is due to differences in teh Android OS. Works ok with other platforms just not firestick. Good pricing. It is a pity.

Based on my experience I gave it a 5 star because it has a reliable connection and I've tried a few out there so I know what I'm talking about. The UI is so simple and easy to understand.
I have used PIA for several years now
I have used PIA for several years now. It's always reliable, lots of options for connections, very straight forward Android, Apple, and Windows applications. I pay them yearly and it's worth every penny. I value consistency and this company has been rock solid. I know there are other places claiming they offer VPNs cheaper or even free, I have some experience with them and I can tell you PIA's price of entry is worth every penny.
PIA VPN. Recommended.
The PIA VPN is a good, stable, easy to use VPN with a court-tested No Logs policy which i would recommend. Once set up, and the default settings should suffice for most, you can forget about it and let it do its thing. I let it choose a server for me which are all good, low latency servers (around 40ms).
I've dropped 1 star because i will need to renew my subscription soon and the cheapest way to do that has been to cancel my current subscription and start as a new customer which doesn't leave you feeling like a valued, long term, customer.

I have used them for 7 years. Always have top speeds and a reliable connection
Great UI, Works on many Platforms.
Great UI, easy to install and setup. Works on multiple OS/Mobile OS. Upgraded from Avast VPN, and it's no comparison.

Impossible to contact support from the online form for a refund
I signed up for the trial with the promise of a refund if I cancel within the month. During the trial I found that on a few occasions the IP address I was allocated was not the one for the country I set. So for that reason the application is no good to me and I'd like to cancel. However it's impossible to send the message to customer support, an error message which makes no sense keeps showing despite all fields being entered correctly.
Good luck getting over these hurdles. So much for the expectations for a hassle free refund.
Update: the template answer from PIA on Trustpilot is sending me down the same path I originally complained about. The right thing to do for Private Internet Access is to actually deal with my email complaint, rather than create appearance of good customer service by posting meaningless messages on Trustpilot for PR.

I have been using PIA for a few years now with minimal issues. The only times I have had problems with PIA was when using older machines (10+ years old) with their old software. I mostly use PIA on Apple products.

never had any issues, Good company and I trust them
never had any issues, however, I renewed for 3 yrs and received a year free of Restoro, which shows company appreciates their customers, have been a customer since 2011
Simple for everybody
Simple user interface and simple user experience for the common man or everybody (no sexism or racism please). Its not perfectly simplified as there is no tutorial nor a way to learn about this. The service is very clean.
Strong Updating
Honestly, when I first starting using this product, it wasn't as reliable. The update system wasn't trustworthy. I got dinged by my ISP for downloaded content on several occasions. I'd say for the better part of two years, I haven't had that problem. The updates and the update notifications are much more reliable. And the update process is super-smooth.
shame on me...PIA is Great!
For a couple of years I had PIA installed in a gli-net little router, It worked, it was convenient but the speed was horrible (3-4Mb/s) I wrongly thought it was PIA's fault, now I installed it directly in my laptop as an app and the thing flies(about 50Mb/s) almost not diference with the raw Comcast speed.
Solid, Trouble-free and Supports Legacy Mac Intel Systems
I'm a Mac User and have used PIA for several years. It's important to me to have Legacy Mac Intel Support for years to come with a reliable VPN. Most of the time with PIA when there are connection glitches they resolve within minutes. There are MAC OS X users out there who are still on 10.13 High Sierra, 10.14 Mojave, and 10.15 Catalina and PIA can continue to give them a trouble-free VPN service right along with Big Sur, Ventura, etc.
